About

What GE Hound is

We care about OSRS Grand Exchange alerts first. Step away from the Wiki and we still tell you when prices move.

Not Jagex. Not "official."

We pull from the public OSRS Wiki API, like plenty of fan-made tools. We are not Jagex, and we are not the Wiki team.

Discord, your way

You add a webhook from a server you control. When your target hits, we POST a message to that channel. Remove the webhook anytime.

No game client access

We never touch the RuneScape client or your account. You get live GE data and a heads-up when something matters.

Rolling out access

We are letting people in slowly. Join the list below and we email you when your spot opens.

FAQ

Common questions

Plain talk on OSRS GE tracking. No random item trivia.

How accurate is OSRS Grand Exchange data in tools like GE Hound?

We use public OSRS Wiki API data, the same pool a lot of GE trackers drink from. Numbers are guide prices on a refresh cycle, not every in-game tick, so you will see a little lag next to the live game. Use alerts as a nudge to double-check, especially when a market is messy.

Is GE Hound free?

Yes. The free tier covers everyday GE tracking, a starter watchlist, and Discord alerts. Pro bumps limits, adds email, and opens extra filters when the free plan feels tight.

Is flipping on the Grand Exchange profitable?

Sometimes. Margins, volume, tax, and timing all matter, and what works shifts when the game updates. A tracker helps you move faster, but nobody guarantees profit - you choose what risk you take.

Can I get banned for using a GE price tracker?

We only read public price feeds and send you notifications. We do not play the game for you or touch your client - that is a different world from botting or rule-breaking tools. We are not Jagex. If you are unsure, stick with what feels right to you.

What is the 70% rule in GE flipping?

Some flippers use it as a quick rule: buy around (or below) a set fraction of an item's sell price so you still clear margin after GE tax. It is not a law - always eyeball live spreads and what risk you can stomach.

What should I look for in an OSRS GE tracker?

Start with fresh data, alert channels that match how you play (Discord, email, mobile), a watchlist that fits your routine, honest free vs paid limits, and privacy terms you can read without squinting. The "best" tool is the one that fits how you play - not one crown for everyone.
